Healing Process –
Days 1-3: The area will be slightly swollen and red, and you may experience some tenderness. It’s completely normal for the tattooed area to look darker than expected, as the pigment settles.
Days 4-7: The area may begin to scab or flake. It's important not to pick at the scabs as this can cause scarring and loss of pigment.
Days 7-14: The scabbing will start to heal, and you may notice that the pigment looks lighter and softer than it did immediately after the procedure.
This is normal, and the true color will settle in within a few weeks.

Things to Avoid During the Healing Process:
-
Avoid Touching or Scratching the Area: The tattooed area should not be touched, scratched, or rubbed to avoid infection and scarring. If you need to cleanse the area, use a gentle, non-abrasive method.
-
No Makeup on the Area: Avoid applying any makeup to the treated area during the healing process, as it can interfere with healing and lead to infection.
-
No Water Submersion: Avoid swimming in pools, hot tubs, or any water activities that may submerge the treated area for at least 2 weeks after the procedure. Water can cause pigment to fade and increase the risk of infection.
-
Avoid Sun Exposure: Keep the tattooed area out of direct sunlight during the healing process, and avoid tanning beds. UV rays can cause the pigment to fade and irritate the skin.
-
Avoid Sweating: Try to avoid intense physical activity that may cause excessive sweating for the first few days after the procedure. Sweat can irritate the area and slow down healing.
-
No Exfoliating: Do not use exfoliating products, scrubs, or any harsh skin treatments on the tattooed area for at least 4 weeks after the procedure.
-
Avoid Using Harsh Skincare Products: Stay away from products with alcohol, glycolic acid, or any other harsh ingredients that can dry out or irritate the area during healing. Continue to follow aftercare instructions given to you.
-
Avoid Retin-A or AHA Products: Do not use Retin-A, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA), or similar products on the area for at least 4 weeks prior to or after your cosmetic tattoo procedure.
-
No Botox or Fillers: If you're planning to get Botox or fillers, it’s important to schedule them at least 3 weeks before or after your cosmetic tattoo appointment to avoid disrupting the healing process.
